A man in Lamu County has been found guilty of raping another man.
Stephen Kombo Kikuyu was found guilty of rape contrary to section 3(1) of the sexual offences Act.
Lamu Principal Magistrate Temba Sitati noted that the prosecution had proven beyond reasonable doubt that the accused had forcefully penetrated the victim anally by means of threat and force.
“As a consequence of the material, before the court, the guilt of the accused person on the main count is proved, beyond any reasonable doubt and he is hereby convicted of it under section 215 of the criminal procedure code (CPC),” he said.
