A police officer based in Mombasa County on Tuesday committed suicide.
The cop is believed to have shot himself using his AK 47 rifle .
According to a police report, constable David Koech of Concordia police post had been relieved off his duty but sneaked back to his post before taking his own life.
He did not leave a suicide note, according to police.
