Mvita UDA Mp hopeful Ali Mwatsahu on Tuesday survived an assassination attempt.
Mwatsahu, who survived gunshots, was attacked by unknown assailants in Mombasa County.
The incident happened at Buxton while the politician was heading home.
The vocal UDA diehard is currently admitted at the Coast General and Referral Hospital receiving treatment.
Mombasa gubernatorial hopeful Hassan Omar Sarai is among UDA leaders who visited him after the attack.
