Kenya’s Ambassador to Qatar Patrick ‘Paddy’ Ahenda is dead.
Confirming his demise, his family said the former Kasipul Kabondo Member of Parliament succumbed to a heat stroke.
Paddy had been admitted in the Intensive Care Unit for a week at a hospital in Doha, Qatar.
Prior to his appointment to Qatar, Ahenda had served as Kasipul Kabondo Member of Parliament between 2005 and 2007.
President Uhuru Kenyatta appointed Ahenda to serve as the head of the High Commission in Qatar in October 2018.
