ODM chairman John Mbadi has backed off his HomaBay county gubernatorial bid.
Mbadi reportedly backed off his interest in Homabay gubernatorial race saying that he will not contest in any political seat.
He said that he will focus his attention on party affairs and campaigns for Raila Odinga’s presidential bid.
Other aspirants eyeing the seat include; Homa Bay women rep Gladys Wanga, former Nairobi governor Evans Kidero and Joseph Magwanga.
Mbadi quits amid beckoning of tight party nomination exercise anticipated to take place in April.
