An ailing mother from Likoni Sub County is appealing for a financial assistance to aid her cater for her medication abroad.
The woman suffering from poliomyelitis says she has been suffering for seven years.
Alice Shimuli is now calling on well-wishers to come to her rescue.
Speaking to Baraka FM on Monday. Ms Shimuli says her efforts to get assistance has borne no fruits.
“I have even been going around seeking for assistance but all in vain.” She noted.
She accused Likoni Mp Mishi Mboko of hoodwinking her saying she gave her fake promises about helping her get treatment.
“I have been contacting her frequently for any assistance but I have not received any help. I have now given up on her,”
Shimuli who has never been married neither has kids, adds that she depends on well-wishers for living.
Polio, or poliomyelitis, is a disabling and life-threatening disease caused by the poliovirus. The virus spreads from person to person and can infect a person’s spinal cord, causing paralysis (can’t move parts of the body).
