Kenyan investors seeking opportunities in the DRC have been advised to venture into the Central African country with an open mind.

Hon. George Nyanja, an architect who is part of the delegation of over 250 people attending the Kenya – DRC trade mission in Kinshasa says the country is providing a golden opportunity for investors seeking to expand to the regional market.

His sentiments were reiterated by Trade and Industrialization CS Amb. Betty Maina who asked the investors not to look at DRC as an economy they are going to extract from but rather as a partner they can grow together with.

The trade mission which will last for 15 days is sponsored by the Kenyan and DRC governments in partnership with Equity Group Holdings.

The Vice-Prime Minister of DRC who is also the Minister of Environment H.E Eve Bazaiba officially opened the Kenya – DRC Trade Mission 2021, a 15-day business networking initiative organized by the governments of Kenya and DRC in partnership with Equity Group.
