Mombasa County’s COVID-19 positivity rate is now at one percent

Mombasa County on Thursday recorded a one percent COVID-19 positivity rate.

According to the County’s health department, Mombasa recorded two new COVID-19 cases out of a sample of 207 tested.

The County also recorded one COVID-19 related death on Thursday. No recoveries were recorded on the same day.

So far, the County has carried out 194,779 cumulative tests.

Out of the tests 15,182 turned out positive.

As of October 28th 2021, at least 12,183 people had been recorded to have recovered from the disease with 563 others having succumbed.

The County curretly has 2,436 active COVID-19 cases.
