You will not get any doctors in hospitals from Monday.

The Kenya Medical Practitioners and Dentists Union said doctors will be withdrawing their services from midnight on Monday 21st December 2020.

The strike comes just a few days after Health Cabinet Secretary Mutahi Kagwe warned health workers to go back to work or lose their jobs.

Doctors had issued a 21 days strike notice on 16th November, which was later extended by two weeks to facilitate talks between health stakeholders and the workers.

Those on strike will include medical, pharmaceutical and dental officer interns; medical officers, dentists, pharmacists, medical specialists (consultants); medical superintendents, county directors of health, doctor administrators and sub-county medical officers.
