Independent candidate Feisal Abdalla Bader beat ODM’s Omar Boga to clench the Msambweni seat.
Feisal’s, who was Deputy President William Ruto’s ally, clenched the seat with 15,251 votes with Boga managing to garner 10,444 votes in the December 15th elections.
Wiper’s Sheikh Mahmoud Abdulrahman came in third with 790 votes followed by Hamisi Mwakaonje Liganje of UGM with 230 votes.
Chaos rocked the by-election on Wednesday after a confrontation broke between Mvita Mp Abdullswamad Shariff Nassir and Nyali Mp Mohamed Ali.
The confrontation occurred at ODM candidate Omar Boga’s home area in Mworoni primary school, Ukunda township over bribery claims.
