Kenya Ports Authority (KPA) has ordered its workers aged over 58 years to consider working from home following the second wave of COVID-19.

Through a letter sent to all workers, KPA Acting Director Rashid Salim also said any worker suffering from any kind of disease and expectant women, to carry their duties while at home.

He also ordered all security personnel manning the gate to ensure all mitigations by the Ministry of Health are adhered to to the fullest.

The order comes a few days after the Authority had issued a return to work notice to all workers working from home that was to commence from date 12th of this month.
