Re- Known gospel artist Mr Seed has been accused of stealing a song from an upcoming gospel artist from Coast Region.

The papa God oh Hit maker alongside Mash Mwana are said to have re-recorded Nakutegemea song which was originally done by Pamba kali a coast based artist from Mariakani Kilifi County.

According to Pamba kali’s manager Dan Masha, they got in touch with the YouTube management who pulled the song down on learning Mr Seed had no copyright to the song in question.

Our efforts to reach out to Mr Seed were futile as they dismissed our calls.

However messages seen by Baraka FM shows that Mr Seed’s management had threatened the coast based artist after YouTube pulled down the video.

‘’I’m writing this to inform you that in the next 24hrs if you will not have counter checked on your claim then kindly don’t blame anyone for what will happen,’’ read a message from star born empire the Mr Seeds management.

“Mr Seed’s manager called me and threatened that, they would even take their own action against me if I won’t leave the song to them’’ added Dan Masha.

“Video unavailable: This video is no longer available due to a copyright claim by Pamba Kali,” read the message from YouTube.

The gospel industry has been in the spotlight following several artists quitting the industry for secular music citing Immorality from urban gospel artists.
