Kenyan flights can now fly into Tanzania.
Tanzanian government lifted the ban on Kenyan flights following a move by Kenyan government to exempt Tanzanians from mandatory 14-day quarantine upon arrival into the country.
“In view of that and on a reciprocal basis, the United Republic of Tanzania has now lifted the suspension for all Kenyan operators namely, Kenya Airways, Fly 540 Limited, Safarilink Aviation and AirKenya Express Limited,” read a statement from the Tanzania Civil Aviation Authority in part.
“For the purpose of this release therefore, the resumption and restoration of flights for all Kneyan operators is with immediate effect and Kenya Civil Aviation Authority has been informed accordingly,” it continues to read.
Tanzania had banned Kenyan flights in June after the Kenyan government decided against including Tanzania in a list of countries whose passengers would be allowed to enter Kenya when commercial flights resumed following the lifting of coronavirus restrictions.
