Nairobi, KENYA: Former Sports Cabinet Secretary (CS) Rashid Echesa has been arraigned at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA) court in Nairobi.
Echesa, who was arrested on Thursday by detectives from the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI), is facing charges over a fake sh.39 billion firearm tender.
The ex CS was flagged by DCI detectives on Thursday and taken for questioning at the DCI headquarters on Kiambu road.
Echesa was fired in March 1st, 2019, and replaced with the current Sports CS, Ambassador Amina Mohammed.
