Police in Mombasa are investigating the case of a man who was found dead under mysterious circumstances in Changamwe.
The man who police suspect could be 35 years of age was found dead by bar attendant at the Mwangeka night club in Magongo on Sunday.
Changamwe police boss Ali Ndiema confirmed that the deceased booked a room on the 2nd floor on Saturday night and had no Identification card with him.
“Two bottles of chrome vodka, one partially used and a bottle of Neocidol insecticide were recovered beside the body, “said Ndiema.
He was lying on his left side with no physical injuries.
The body was moved to Coast Provincial General Hospital mortuary awaiting identification.
Ndiema has said that the postmortem will be conducted friends and relatives have identified the body.
