Huawei Y6 prime 2019 finally launched in Kenya

Chinese multinational Huawei Mobile has launched the Huawei Y6  prime 2019 phone in the Kenyan market.

The phone is a cheaper version of the Huawei Y7 prime 2019 and comes in three colors midnight Black, Sapphire Blue, and Amber Brown.

The phone runs on an Android 9.0 pie, a 2gb ram, and a 32 GB storage with a microSD slot of up to 512 GB.

The phone with a 13 mp rear camera and an 8mp front camera will retail at Sh. 13,499.

Speaking at the launch, Steven Li, Head of Eastern Africa Mobile, said the initiative is to support demands of consumers and partners in Kenya.

Li said that the demand for quality affordable phones is real in the Kenyan market.

“We once again launch another Y series in the Kenyan market; Huawei Y6 2019. We are kicking off the campaign with a pre-order where members of the public are encouraged to pre-order within the two weeks. “Li said

All core components are manufactured by industry-leading suppliers. The model has gone through rigorous testing on multiple dimensions and various levels to ensure excellent quality.” He added.

The company has partnered with hire purchase company lipa later in a partnership that will see customers acquire the phone at affordable installments of sh 3600 a month for 6 months sh. 1665 for 12 months.
