Selina actor Cheikh Kone Nouhoum is dead.
Nohoum who played the role of Reagan on the Kenyan telenovela passed away on Wednesday after being in the Intensive care unit of the Nairobi Hospital for months.
The news was broken by his best friend, fellow actor and model Blessing Lugaho.
“My brother, compadre and colleague left to be with the lord at 4 am this morning id like to thank all who contributed to his medical bill because he was truly gratefull.#blesssedtobeablessing” Blessing wrote.
Kone was hospitalized last year after being involved in a grisly accident in Naivasha.

The acting fraternity later started a fundraiser to help him offset his bills.
Nohoum who was born to a Malian father and a Tanzanian mother first shot into the limelight over his role in Alison productions TV series Mali where he played as Lulu( Brenda Wairimu’s ) love interest.
Kone schooled in Kenya at Utawala high school, Laiser Hill and Maseno schools and Kenya Methodist University.
The actor also featured in several movies and also featured as Shawn on KTN drama series New Beginnings.
His death comes just a day after the death of legendary rapper Chris Kantai
