Nairobi, KENYA: The High Court of Kenya has postponed a much anticipated ruling on decriminalization of same-sex sexual relationships.

High Court Judge Chacha Mwita pushed the ruling to May citing a heavy case load.

“The ruling will be made on 24th of May at 10:30 am,” said Mwita.

The gay community want homosexual relationships decriminalized.

Led by Eric Gitari, the community want section 162 of the penal code, which criminalized homosexual relationships, amended.

Represented by their lawyer Paul Muite the LGBTQ community say section 162 of the penal code discriminates against them.
