Annual KEMRI scientific conference kicks off in Nairobi

Scientists and researchers drawn from different regions are in Nairobi for the 9th Kemri Annual Scientific conference (KASH) .

The KEMRI annual and scientific health conference will be held on 13th – 15th February under the theme leveraging and strengthening for universal health coverage.

KASH was launched in 2010 to the mainstream scientific and health agenda of KEMRI.

Delegates will discuss seven symposiums Health systems, equity, governance and e-health, health infectious and parasitic diseases, Nutrition and household food security and sustainability.

 They will also focus on Maternal and child health, Disease outbreak, accidents and emergency response, non-communicable diseases and alternative medicine and innovative technology for disease management

The conference is open to research scientists, health professionals and diploma, graduate and postgraduate students undertaking scientific and health-related causes.
