Shujaa to face USA, Canada, France on first day of HSBC World Rugby sevens series

This year’s HSBC World Rugby sevens series will kick off on Saturday in Sydney, Australia.

Kenya sevens side Shujaa will face Canada on Saturday at 1:44am local time then later play USA at 7:34am.

The Kenyan team will then close their Saturday matches with them facing France at 11:17am.

Shujaa will be looking to beat the likes of Fiji, France, USA, South Africa, New Zealand, Samoa, Wales, Spain, Tonga, Scotland and Japan to take this year’s title.

Currently, Kenya is ranked 13th with 11 points which is 46 points behind leaders Fiji.

Fiji and USA tie at the top of the table with 57 points each followed by N.Zealand with 54 points.

S.Africa come fourth with 44 points followed by England at 38 points.

Japan, Tonga and Zimbabwe take bottom positions with 4, 3 and 2 points respectively.
