Kwale, KENYA: Former Amani Tip Tip party chair Kalembe Ndile is now calling for the dissolution of Jubilee party saying the merging of affiliate parties has brought no good but misery to the party.

Speaking on Monday in Kwale county, Kalembe insisted that the alliance should be discontinued since some individuals have taken advantage to reap big at the expense of common citizens.

He said the merger of affiliated political parties has ignited leadership wrangles in Jubilee party following a heated debate on the 2022 succession politics.

President Kenyatta slams Kuria and Ngunjiri over Central Kenya remark

“I was not consulted on Jubilee party memorandum of understanding that Ruto will vie for the presidency in 2022. We were only concerned with winning the 2017 presidential elections,” he said.

He lauded President Uhuru Kenyatta for condemning leaders against politicking saying it is still early to talk about 2022 politics since the move is derailing development agenda.

This comes even as Jubilee vice chair David Murathe resigned from his position following his remarks that deputy president William Ruto is not fit to vie for 2022 presidency.
