Diamond Platnumz has postponed the wedding dates to his Kenyan beauty Tanasha Okech from 14th of February to a later date.
Diamond made the announcement on his Wasafi TV stating that he intends to have a big wedding thus the reason for pushing the date
“The wedding was supposed to be on 14th February Valentines day but because I want it to be like the royal wedding with the likes of Rick Ross attending, I have pushed it to a later date,” Diamond explains on Wasafi Tv
Despite the explanation, speculations have it that the relationship was a publicity stunt aimed at promoting Diamond’s Wasafi festivals that took place in Embu, Nairobi, and Mombasa which were sponsored by a local radio station where Tanasha works.
Diamond announced his relationship with Tanasha on November 2018 just a few weeks after announcing the dates for the Kenyan legs of the Wasafi festival.
The relationship with Tanasha attracted both hate and love in equal measures with others trolling and warning Tanasha of Diamond’s infidelity trends.
If the wedding would have gone on as planned, it could have been held exactly one year since Diamond was dumped by his Ugandan baby mama Zari Hassan who accused the singer of infidelity.
Neither Diamond nor Tanasha have spoken the allegations that the relationship is a publicity stunt aimed at promoting shows.
