Mombasa, KENYA: Two suspected criminals have succumbed to their injuries after they were attacked by a mob in Likoni.
Speaking to Baraka FM, Likoni OCPD Benjamin Rotich said the two were among six suspects attacked on Friday morning as they tried to invade residents in Likoni area.
The two died while receiving treatment at Coast general hospital where the other four are currently admitted.
“The gang members were armed with knives and panga as they tried to rob people,” said Rotich.
Rotich has warned residents against taking the law into their own hands.
