The suspect in the murder of actor Jamal Nasoor Gaddafi says the actor fell on a kitchen knife during a heated argument.
Grace Kanamu, who is being detained at Mlolongo police station, on Thursday told the court that she did not kill Jamal but he accidentally fell on a kitchen knife while they were arguing.
According to police reports, the suspect stabbed the actor on Tuesday night.
Grace Kanamu was presented before Mavoko Principal Magistrate Charity Oluoch who ordered that she be detained for five more days.
Jamal Gaddafi popularly known for his role as ‘baba junior’ and the judge in local TV shows “Junior” and “Vioja Mahakamani” respectively, was killed on Tuesday at a hotel in Mlolongo, Machakos County.
He was laid to rest on Thursday morning at Kikowani Muslim cemetery in Mombasa.
