Nairobi, KENYA: Citizen TV news anchor  Jackie Maribe’s fiance Joseph Irungu alias Jowie has withdrawn an application he had earlier filed at the high court seeking to have the judge presiding over his case Justice James Wakiaga recluse himself from his case over open discrimination.

Irungu filled the application a few days after October 30  where he was denied bail arguing that the judge had already made his judgment and also demeaned his dignity.

“The 1st accused person (Jowie) is that of a male version of a slay queen which for lack of better terminology, I shall call a woman eater…” said the judge during his bail ruling which he denied Jowie bail.

While Jacque Maribe, who is his co-accused who was released on a Sh. 1 million cash bail has in the meantime meantime been issued access to her home.

Jowie had filed an application seeking to have state prosecutor  Catherine Mwaniki held in contempt and disqualified from handling her case over failing to honor a court order issued by the court on 30th October ordering the prosecution to allow her to access her phone and house.
