Abducted Tanzanian billionaire Mohamed Dewji back home safely

One of Africa’s youngest billionaire’s Mohammed Dweji known has returned home safely.

Dewji has announced his return on Twitter.

“I thank Allah that I have returned home safely. I thank my fellow Tanzanians and everyone around the world for their prayers. I thank the authorities of Tanzania, including the police force for my safe return,” said Mohammed Dewji on twitter.

Mohammed Dewji, 43,  popularly known as “MO Dewji”,  was abducted on Thursday last week when heading to a gym session at Colosseum Hotel and Fitness Club in Oyster Bay Dares Salaam

The family had offered sh44milion reward to anyone with information om his whereabouts.

Mr. Mohammed who is a former politician was once the member of parliament for Singinda in Tanzania from the year 2010 to 2015.

The 43 year old businessman owns Mohammed Enterprises Tanzania Limited – MeTL Group of Companies, the largest privately owned conglomerate in Tanzania which deals with commodities trading.

He is also an investor in Simba CS, Tanzania’s reigning premier league champions.
