Dancehall superstar Redsan is in the spotlight again, not for launching the ‘BADDEST’ album but for allegedly beating up his producer, Sappy.
In an audio that has gone viral on social media, an argument ensues between the ‘badder than most’ singer and Sappy after an alleged disrespect from the producer.
“Stand up, fight like a man!” a voice like Redsan’s is heard saying.
It is suspected that Redsan was angry because he could not perform his new song during the Saturday album launch because it was not ready, something that the artist deemed as disrespectful to his career.
A third party, who probably recorded the audio, was also assaulted by the artist after calling him ‘msenge’.
Redsan, who has been able to keep away from any public scandals for a long time, launched his much hyped ‘Baddest’ album on Saturday at Carnivore gardens in Nairobi, with international artists like Jamaica’s Demarco and Nigeria songstress Tiwa Savage performing at the event.
However, things went south on Monday morning after Tiwa Savage was left stranded by the promoters of the event, after they failed to pay for the full hotel accommodations and provide transport to the airport for her departure.
