The body of a nine year old girl who was reported kidnapped several days ago has been found dumped in Gitoro forest, Imenti North in Meru county.
Maribel Kapolon, daughter of Githongo law courts Magistrate, Caroline Kemei, went missing on the 6th of this month.
According to police reports, the decomposing body of the 9-year-old was discovered on Sunday by a member of the public who then informed the area chief.
The body has been moved to Meru Level Five Hospital morgue awaiting an autopsy.
