Kilifi, KENYA: Police in Kilifi County are investigating a case where a body of an 85 year old woman was found in Magarini area.
Area OCPD Gerald Barasa said the body of Kadzo Karisa Koi was found along a footpath just 300m from her home in Mwareni village, Marafa Ward.
According to the police, Kadzo had gone to fetch firewood but failed to go back home therefore raising concerns.
They however say it is difficult to determine the cause of death as the body did not have any visible injuries.
The corpse was taken to KIlifi General Hospital for preservation awaiting autopsy to determine the real cause and time of death.
