Tanzanian Socialite Hamisa Mobetto is allegedly in trouble over lying.
The socialite who happens to be a baby mama and an on and off girlfriend to Tanzanian hitmaker Diamond Platnumz has apparently been lying about her baby daddy Diamond Platnumz buying her a house.
A few weeks ago the socialite’s mother Shufaa Lutigunga told Wasafi TV that Diamond Platnumz had bought a house she was living with her daughter and grandchildren.
The posh house is located in the upmarket neighborhood of Tegeta-Bahari beach in Dar es Salaam.
Lutigunga further told journalists that Diamond bought the house so that his son with Mobetto Dylan can grow up in a decent house.
However, it turns out that the house is rented according to Tanzanian newspaper Global publishers.
According to the paper, one of Hamisa’s neighbors denied the allegations that the house had been bought and so did the landlord’s brother.
However, Shufaa’s remarks reportedly left a bad taste on the owner of the house.
The owner of the house who is reported to own many houses in Dar es Salaam was reportedly not impressed by the reports that the house had been bought whereas it is rented according to Mobetto’s neighbor who requested anonymity.
“Njooni Jumamosi mara nyingi huwa anakuja na mnaweza kuzungumza naye akawapa ukweli wa mambo wote maana nimesikia pia hakufurahishwa na kitendo cha mitandao kuandika kuwa nyumba imenunuliwa wakati ukweli ni kwamba wamepanga.”
( Just come on Saturday because the owner is always around on Saturdays and he will tell you the truth about this issue.I also heard that he is not impressed with the reports that the house is bought whereas it’s only rented) The neighbor was quoted saying.
This comes just a day after Mobetto’s arch-rival Zari Hassan called her out on social media claiming that she is trying too hard to be like her.
Hamisa Mobetto is yet to respond to the latest allegations.
