Mombasa,KENYA: ODM leader Raila Odinga has told off politicians opposing the handshake between him and President Uhuru Kenyatta.

Speaking in Mombasa during a joint National Executive Committee and Parliamentary Group meeting at the Flamingo Beach Resort in North Coast, Odinga said the said politicians are shifting positions about the handshake.

“Those resisting the change are trying to rewind the clock. They embrace the handshake in the morning and oppose it in the afternoon”, said Odinga.

He also took a swipe at corruption cartels stating that they have been raising alarms yet they are the beneficiaries.

“People shouting loudest about corruption are the beneficiaries’, claimed Odinga.

However, he reiterated his support to the jubilee government in its purge against graft.

Meanwhile Mombasa Governor Ali Hassan Joho stated that ODM will field a presidential candidate in 2022.

Speaking at the retreat, Joho said the orange party is currently on the drawing board for 2022.

“There are a lot of stories going around. But the point remains ODM will remain strong. ODM will have a presidential candidate in 2022”, he stated.
