Nairobi, KENYA: Wasteful Gor Mahia lost 4-3 to Hull City on post-match penalties after a barren draw in regulations time in an international friendly match staged at Kasarani stadium on Sunday.

Dominant K’ogalo could not find a break through despite numerous goal scoring opportunities coming their way hence paying the price in the shootouts.

On the contrary, Hull City boasting of former Manchester United forward Freizer Campbell did not trouble Gor Mahia proving why they finished 18th in the English championship in the just concluded campaign.

This was the second time that Gor Mahia was facing an English opposition after losing 2-1 to Premier League club Everton last year in another friendly match facilitated by club’s sponsors Sportpesa.

The tie also served as a test match for K’ogalo who hosts Algerian club USM Alger on Wednesday in the same venue in their second Caf confederation cup group matches.
