Speaking during the release of the financial report on Tuesday in Nairobi, Kenya power managing director Ken Tarus said that the high returns is due to the focus that the company has put into meeting customer’s demands that resulted to an increase of consumers from 4.8M to 6.1M.
“We have been to the grassroots of the customer needs and worked on them instantly which is a bold step” said Tarus
According to the report, electricity sales grew by 4.5% and the demand by 4.4% while revenue increased by 6% from 87M to 92M.
