Nairobi, Kenya: Kenyan Premier League outgoing champions Tusker FC thrashed struggling Muhoroni Youth 4-0 in a clash staged at Ruaraka, Nairobi on Sunday to console their poor campaign.

Muhoroni who approached the match on the back of a 4-3 success over Nakumatt FC were hopeful of a rare victory of the Brewers to continue their relegation battle.

That however turned futile as they were made to the pay the price of going all out against Tusker who ran riot with goals from Mike Khamati who scored a brace, with Humphrey Mieno and Allan Wanga also finding the back of the net.

The biggest shocker of the weekend though saw Mathare United surprises league leaders Gor Mahia 1-0, slowing the Green Army’s title celebrations.

The same fate befell giants AFC Leopards who went down 2-0 against Posta Rangers, in Mombasa hosts Bandari FC lost for the fifth time in a row after letting slip lead to lose 2-1 to visiting Sofapaka FC.

The league continues with midweek fixtures where Ulinzi Stars will battle AFC Leopards while Gor Mahia will be up against Kariobangi Sharks on Tuesday.
