Video:Mombasa acting fraternity mourns fallen actress

The Mombasa entertainment industry suffered a blow on Tuesday after news emerged that popular actress Maureeen Wanza had passed on while giving birth a Kilifi hospital.

Her colleagues in the acting fraternity in Mombasa have sent their condolences to Wanza’s family and celebrated the actress as a dedicated dedicated and talented actress.

Henry Lenga who she acted alongside in Sumu shared an emotional video of the two in a romanting scene captioning it.

“Sasha siamini hatuta igiza tena… sitakuelekeza tena… RIP Maureen Wanza” Henry Lenga wrote on facebook.

Fellow actress Kibibi Salim also eulogized the actress

“Habari za kifo mbili kwa pamoja, Bibi Maryam nawe Allah akulaze pema. Njia yetu sote. Sad day ila Alhamdulillah,’ (  Two deaths at ago , Grandma Maryam , now you.Its destiny for us all  sad day) wrote Kibibi Salim.

 The late Maureen played the role of a mistress on Sumu and also had roles in Almasi and Kashfa
