Mombasa,KENYA:Mombasa gubernatorial aspirant on Wiper Democratic Party ticket has accused Joho of being at the forefront in the chaos that erupted during the National Super Alliance NASA rally at the Mama Ngina Gardens on Friday.
Speaking to journalists at his offices in Kizingo the senator noted that Joho expected to be endorsed as the governor of Mombasa by the NASA principal Raila odinga something that did not happen anticipated which caused the Chaos at the rally.
“Joho’s main agenda was endorsing of the “six piece” system which did not happen” Omar said.
The senator however explained that Raila did not endorse the incumbent governor because of his poor track record towards Mombasa county residents despite having endorsed other several governors through NASA ticket in various parts of the country claiming that Joho had the six piece agenda in mind an aspect that the principal did not even dare mention during the rally instead he urged Mombasa voters for who they feel has their interests at heart between himself and Joho.
“Joho expected to be endorsed as the governor of Mombasa now that Raila had endorsed several governors in various parts of the country. Raila knows very well that Joho has not been able to deliver the services that Mombasa residents require.” Sarai insisted.
The wiper secretary general claimed that the county government has demonstrated incompetence and requires to be reclaimed back to its original status before 2013.
“Mombasa county residents have to change their perception on how they want the county to be governed. There is so much incompetence with the current administration and as the next governor of this county, we need to reclaim it and take it back to its original place.” He said
He assured Mombasa residents that he would emerge the winner of the Tuesday polls with a landslide victory.
This comes a day after his supporters clashed with Joho’s supporters at the NASA megarally held at the Mama Ngina grounds in Mombasa.
