Nairobi,KENYA:The support of NASA coalition in Eastern Kenya  has suffered a blow  after a group from Ukambani decided to endorse the Jubilee party for presidency for the second time.

Speaking on Friday in Nairobi, led by the group’s secretary general , Jonathan Mukau, alluded that the county government of Nairobi had sidelined the community despite the fact that it voted massively for the opposition in the 2013 last general election .

The group by the name Nairobi Akamba Network, broke the news saying that the Jubilee government had shown much concern in helping the Kambas by appointing some of leaders from the community especially Health Cs Dr.Cleopa Mailu,PS Engineer Victor Kyalo, county commissioners among others.

“Despite the fact that our community did not vote for uhuruto in large numbers, we are grateful that the government appointed some of the key people from the community to hold various posts in the government.” Said Mukau.

They applauded the jubilee government for issuance of title deeds to the community following the fact that lack of title deeds has been a thorny issue in the area since independence.

Mukau also indicated that the government offered electricity, improved health care and commissioning development of higher institutions of learning and execution of standard gauge railway which he pointed that has created job opportunities in the area.

They vowed to be in the forefront of the Jubilee campaign trail to ensure they mobilize Kamba votes towards Jubilee side.

The group consists of 3000 members from all over the country which was formed in the year 2010.
