Nairobi, KENYA: Kenya’s representatives at the CAF Confederations Cup Ulinzi Stars will be seeking to write history when they lock horns with Egyptian side Smouha on Saturday in their reverse fixture of the tie.

The soldiers were dismantled 4-0 by Smouha in the first leg of the preliminaries played in Egypt a fortnight ago leaving them with a mountain to climb in their bid to progress in the competition.

Speaking ahead of the duel Ulinzi Stars head coach Benjamin Nyangweso, acknowledged the task awaiting them but remained optimistic his charges can overturn the deficit.

To proceed to the next round Ulinzi will have to win the match with a score-line of not less than 5-0, lest they follow Tusker who was eliminated in the first round of the CAF Champions League.

The match will be staged at Kenyatta Stadium, Machakos on Saturday.
