Cameroon wins 2017 Africa cup of Nations-AFCON

Libreville,GABON:Vincent Aboubakar’s goal swept Cameroon to their fifth Africa Cup of Nations title after beating Egypt 2-1 in a thrilling match played in Gabon.

Arsenal’s midfielder Mohamed Elneny opened the score in the 22nd minute with a beautifully taken near-post strike.

However, Nicolas Nkoulou equalised for Cameroon with a header on the hour mark.

Aboubakar’s winner came in the 88th minute with the indomitable lion’s fans bursting out with excitement and joyous celebrations.

The win makes them the second most successful nation in the competition’s history – behind Egypt – and marks the first time they have beaten the Pharoahs in the final in three attempts.
