Mombasa, KENYA: Former Mombasa’s Congo Boyz and Ulinzi Stars striker Wycliffe Ochomo has distanced himself from rumors linking him with a move to Western Stima FC.

Speaking to one of the local dailies on Wednesday, the controversial goal poacher confirmed that he has switched allegiance to Kakamega Homeboyz on a two a year deal.

Ochomo further refuted claims that he had earlier penned a contract with Stima as earlier reported, but admitted he had received an offer from the club.

Western Stima on Tuesday claimed signing the striker by posting a picture of the player on their Facebook page captioned;

‘’Another acquisition Wycliffe Ochomo former Ulinzi stars and Muhoroni fc. He joins Stima and will be expected to lead our attacks. Welcome,” reads the post.

Ochomo who scored 12 goals last campaign, three short of top scorer John Makwata of Ulinzi Stars, unceremoniously parted ways with Muhoroni Youth following a string of disciplinary issues.
