Mombasa, KENYA: A man was on Monday charged for allegedly stealing 730 bags of rice in Mombasa.
Court heard that Christopher Marwa Wandege jointly with others not before court stole bags of rice worth sh.3,848,000.
Mr.Wandege pleaded not guilty to the charge before Mombasa resident magistrate Juliet Kasam.
The accused person allegedly stole rice which belonged to Mursal Abdikar Ali on the August 28th 2017.
The rice was to be transported from a Mombasa warehouse to Busia County.
Court orderd the accused person released on a surety bond of sh. 1,000,000.
The case is set for hearing on September 19.
