Unpreparedness lead to suspension of primaries,President Kenyatta

Nairobi,KENYA:President Uhuru Kenyatta has regretted yesterday’s turn of events where Jubilee primaries were suspended due to delays and chaotic scenes which were witnessed.

In a media briefing at state house Nairobi ,Uhuru said that the delays which were witnessed were as a result of under preparedness of the party due to overwhelming number of voters who turned up to vote ;and lack of nominations papers.
He assured his supporters that  the party leadership is doing everything possible to bring normalcy when the party embarks on a rescheduled primaries due  as from next week.
“Jubilee party is committed to afree ,fair transparent and credible nominations which as we have clearly stated must be the will of the people.”President Uhuru said
The president downplayed some allegations by UasinGishu governor  Jackson Mandago that officials in the office of deputy President William Ruto are interfering with nomination process in the county.
Jubilee leadership through national elections board suspended entire party primaries due to anomalies which were  experienced during the exercise.
