A man riding his motorcycle was crashed to death by a semi-trailer at Mariakani area, along the Mombasa-Nairobi highway on Tuesday.
According to locals, the canter knocked him killing him on the spot before early morning.
The deceased had branched off to a nearby petrol station when the speeding canter which was from the petrol station, crashed him to death.
A second man-a charcoal seller- sustained injuries after he was ran over by the truck as a few meters from the incident while the truck was fleeing.
He was rushed to the hospital after sustaining serious injuries
Traffic police officers who were on site flagged down the driver before arresting him.
