The government through the Kenya Wildlife Service (KWS) has once again started a campaign to drive out elephants from Ganze, Kilifi County.

This is according to Ganze Member of Parliament Teddy Mwambire.

Speaking in Ganze, the vocal legislator urged the residents to cooperate with KWS officers in a bid to make the exercise a success.

“I’m calling on the locals to work closely with KWS officers as we conduct this exercise,” noted Mwambire.

The MP further warned livestock keepers against grazing in the area.

According to him this might interfere with the entire exercise.

“Do not take your livestock to the spot where the exercise will be undertaken,” said the lawmaker.

He called on locals to spread the message to other residents in the area.

KWS will be using helicopters to drive away the elephants.
