Magoha warns students over exam cheating as KCSE kicks off

Education CS Prof. George Magoha warned  KCSE candidates  against exam malpractice in this years  Kenya Certificate of Secondary Examination(KCSE).

Speaking on Monday in Mombasa county during opening of exam containers, Magoha said they will take stern action against the perpetuators of the vice.

Magoha also warned teachers to refrain from interfering with this year’s KCSE exam.

“A teacher who steals exam is not intelligent enough,” said  Magoha.

He further pointed out that the government is prepared to deal with with exam  delays through use of choppers in remote areas.

Magoha said CBC is the most suitable solution to eradicate the vice of exam cheating in the country.

On the otherhand, he asked the contaractors with ongoing CBC classroom construction to minimize their activities until when the exam is done.

He says the government is set to construct ten thousands classroom as promised before handing over to the next government.

831,026 students are sitting for 2021 KCSE.
