Friday May 14th will be a public holiday.
Interior Cabinet Secretary Fred Matiang’I declared Friday a public holiday to celebrate Eid-ul-Fitr.
Eid-ul-Fitr is celebrated by Muslims worldwide to mark the end of the month-long dawn-to-sunset fasting in the holy month of Ramadan.
Ramadan in Kenya kicked off on 14th May and will end on 13th May, after 30 days of prayers and fasting by the Muslim faithfuls.
