Changamwe Mp Omar Mwinyi has proposed that the 2022 general elections should not be held.

According to him, he says he would wish that MPs should continue serving the people and solving their challenges.

Speaking in Changamwe on Tuesday, the legislator also cautioned politicians against constant campaign saying its derailing development.

” If I had the powers, I would have said no elections in 2022 so that we can continue serving the public’, he said.

Omar chided Kenyan politicians for endless politicking unlike their counterparts in other countries.

” We politick 24/7 unlike other nations in Europe and even Tanzania where you cannot even know whether they are holding elections”, he added.
