Deputy President William Ruto on Thursday met with Msambweni parliamentary seat aspirant Feisal Abdallah Bader.
Mr.Abdallah visited DP Ruto in Nairobi accompanied by other Coast MPs Athman Shariff (Lamu East), Mohammed Ali (Nyali), Owen Baya (Kilifi North), Khatib Mwashetani (Lunga Lunga), and Aisha Jumwa (Malindi) at Karen, Nairobi County.
Ruto on Wednesday announced that he supported the Jubilee party decision not to contest for Msabweni by-election but he was of a different opinion.
Ruto acknowledged Mariam Shalet who had gone to collect nomination papers at Jubilee offices adding that if she asks for his help in contesting for the position he will be willing to support her.
Secretary-General Raphael Tuju also said the country faces serious issues currently following CJ David Maraga’s call for the dissolution of Parliament for failing to legislate laws to implement the gender rule.
Nyali MP hinted out that Abdalla will contest for the seat as an independent in a by-election scheduled on 15th December.
