Former Changamwe MP Ramadhan Kajembe has been laid to rest.
Kajembe was laid to rest at his family cemetery at kwashee village in Mikindani, Jomvu constituency.
He died on Friday at Pandya Memorial hospital weeks after his first wife succumbed to COVID-19.
His burial lasted only half an hour with one of his sons the only one allowed to speak during the ceremony.
Kajembe did not attend his wife’s burial as he was on oxygen at the hospital.
