Ramadhan Kajembe’s first wife succumbs to COVID-19

Former Changamwe Mp Ramadhan Kajembe ‘s wife Aziza Kajembe has passed away.

Aziza died on Friday morning at a private facility in Mombasa with insiders claiming that she was battling COVID-19.

According to an insider at the private facility whose name we have redacted, the late Aziza died in the isolation ward.

The insider also claims Kajembe’s 30-year-old son Hatibu Mwinyihaji tested positive for the virus.

“ The son is admitted at the facility” our source claims.

The late Aziza was aged 66 at the time of her death.

Jomvu Mp Badi Twalib who is Kajembe’s son in law is among the leaders who have sent their condolences to the family.

“On behalf of my family and the people of Jomvu, I extend our heartfelt condolences and profound sympathies to my father in law Hon. Ramadhan Kajembe and his family on the loss of his first wife Mama Aziza Kajembe.”  Badi wrote

“The deceased was well known as a mother figure to many in Mombasa West and a champion of women empowerment.” He added.

In March Kajembe’s second wife Mrs. Zaharia Kajembe passed away at the Aga Khan hospital in Mombasa.
